Call for RHoK Video Footage from Around the World
“What is a hackathon?”
Everyone involved in RHoK has likely gotten that question at least a time or two, and there are many good answers. To help make the picture a little clearer to those who have never attended a hackathon, much less a “hackathon for humanity,” RHoK is pulling together video footage to create a mini-documentary–a three minute glimpse into what hacking for humanity all around the globe actually looks like.
To get the best possible representation of RHoK’s many far flung locations, we are making this open call for submissions:
Did you, or someone you know, take some good video at a RHoK event in the past? If you have a few good hi-definition clips, a bit of B-roll or perhaps a good sound bite or two, send it our way. Email us here to let us know; we’ll tell you where to upload it and we will credit all aspiring filmmakers whose footage gets used.
Help us tell the story of what a hackathon is, and more importantly, why it matters.
